Kellie holds a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling through the University of the Cumberlands. She is a nationally certified counselor, and a Resident in Counseling through Virginia's board of counseling, supervised by Christine. Kellie approaches counseling with a feminist and multicultural framework, centering the clients' identity and perspective. Kellie is a trauma-informed therapist, and she uses treatment modalities that best suit the client, such as Internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), TF-CBT, mindfulness, and feminist theory. Kellie previously completed internships with Prosperity Eating Disorder Clinic and The Women's Initiative. Kellie has experience with individual counseling, group counseling, therapeutic day treatment, intensive-in-home services, adult skill building, and therapeutic mentoring. 

Kellie works closely with each individual to ensure that they feel seen, validated, empowered, and experience empathy and compassion when sharing the counseling space.
