If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special

Ashley was born and raised in Michigan but has lived in four different states since graduating college, including Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and Virginia. She earned a Bachelors degree in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University. While working with the football team at Lamar University she completed her Masters in Kinesiology while also completing a thesis on Myofascial Decompression.

Ashley has worked as a certified athletic trainer for the past eight years. She has worked with a variety of athletes including men’s hockey, men’s and women’s swimming, women’s golf, women’s rowing, and football. While working as an athletic trainer she recognized the growing need for sports psychologists and counselors and wanted to have the ability to help athletes not only with their physical health, but also their mental health. She is working on her doctorate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a sports performance emphasis through University of Western States, and is supervised by Christine. While her main passion is working with athletes and performance psychology, she also enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

When she’s not working, Ashley enjoys working out, hiking, reading, and hanging out with her fiancé and her two rescue kittens, Nike and Puma.
